Shoremen head to Baron Cup Finals

The Avon Lake Shoremen are headed to the championship after a 3-2 comeback victory over Kent on Thursday night. After trailing 1-0 through the first two periods, the Shoremen found their rhythm in the final period, erupting for three goals to flip the script and secure the win. The offensive rally was fueled by the efforts of Otto Mahnke, Ryan Gibel, and Nate LePrevost, whose clutch performances sent the Shoremen marching forward. The quest for the trophy culminates this Saturday, February 7th, at 3:00 p.m. as Avon Lake takes on Elyria Catholic at the John M. Coyne Recreation Center in Brooklyn.
