Olivia Miller Named Lorain County Miss Basketball

A massive round of applause is in order for Avon Lake’s very own Olivia Miller on being crowned Lorain County Miss Basketball! This historic achievement marks the first time in 29 years that an Avon Lake player has received the honor, and the decision from the committee was notably unanimous. Miller’s dominant season—averaging 15.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists—also earned her titles as the Divisions I-III Lorain County Player of the Year, First-Team SWC, and First-Team Northeast Lakes District. As she prepares to head to Wayne State this fall to continue her basketball career, we celebrate the incredible legacy she leaves behind.
