Maya White collected four hits in four at bats, as JV Shoregals defeated Olmsted Falls Bulldogs 23-6 on Saturday. White singled in the second, singled in the third, doubled in the fourth, and doubled in the fourth.
JV Shoregals grabbed an early lead. JV Shoregals scored on a single by Hattie Hobar and a groundout by Natalie Baker in the first inning.
JV Shoregals scored ten runs in the fourth inning. JV Shoregals’ big inning was driven by doubles by White, Sarah Austin, Mackenzie Anspaugh, and Erin Jagodzinski and singles by Hobar, Kaila Polk, and Brooke Moore.
Moore led the JV Shoregals to victory in the pitcher’s circle. The pitcher allowed 11 hits and six runs over five innings, striking out seven and walking zero.
JV Shoregals had 20 hits in the game. White, Hobar, Austin, Jagodzinski, Erin Gallagher, and Moore each collected multiple hits for JV Shoregals. White led JV Shoregals with four hits in four at bats. JV Shoregals was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Hobar had the most chances in the field with seven.
