The Avon Lake Girls Bowling team placed 14th in the state at the State Finals in Columbus. Amber Wartham (Junior) took 22nd overall with a high game of 220 for a total of 554 3 game series. Lexi Cline bowled a 438, Rayana Meyers bowled a 308 two games series, Chloe Smith had a 302 two game series, Grace Gallagher bowled a single game with a 154. In addition Madison Reimueller, Kayleigh Reimueller, Phoebe Hood all contributed to the success at the finals. The girls have historically done well in the Bakers Matches at Competitions. The state finals was no different. The girls battled to the end.

Avon Lake came into the tournament as the 16th seed. They managed to overtake a few teams in the competition proving they belong in the state finals.

The state finals wraps up the season for the girls. The team will be saying good bye to its 4 senior girls: Madison Reimueller, Kayleigh Reimueller, Lexi Cline and Anna Peepers. These girls have had a great season and we wish them the best in their future.
