Avon Lake Boys take 4th place in the SWC finals. Connor Gallagher lead the team with a 585 series. Connor finished first place in the tournament. His high game was a 236. Connor had an amazing appearance while playing on a pro sport pattern. This tournament was a combination of two events to crown a team winner as well as individuals. The Eagle Challenge was hosted at Buckeye Lanes in North Olmsted on December 10, 2017 along with the SWC finals also hosted at Buckeye Lanes on February 11th, 2018. Co-Capitan James Bair who took 7th place in the event. James has been a major part of the bowling squad at Avon Lake High School since the program started last year. James maintained a 200 average for the season and has managed to place in the top 10 bowlers in all events. Christian Cabot, Nick Foley, Guy Dickey, Brandon Nieding, Owen Forrey, Brock Meyers all participated in the match this past weekend. The team started off strong and maintained a great finish amongst the best teams in the conference. Next Sunday the team will participate in the Sectional Tournament and hope to advance to the Districts finals.
