News · ALHS Boys Bowling Defeats Berea Mid-Park


Jacek Gomez was amazing on the lanes throwing a 252 game followed up with a 245 game for a 497 series to take down Berea Mid-Park. Evan Molloy had an impressive 235 game with a 411 series. Brandon Nieding rolled his last ball as a senior throwing a 215 game for a 395 series. Nieding the team Captain joins the elite club in Avon Lake to have a season average higher than 200. Nik Gomez had a 394 series throwing a high game of 199. JJ Toth contributed to the first time win against Berea Mid-Park throwing a 378 series. The Avon Lake Boys finish the season with 15 wins and only 2 losses. The Shoremen place in sectionals to earn a ticket to Districts. In just 5 short years the Avon Lake Shoremen have become a one of the top ranking teams in the North Shore Bowling Conference and the SWC.
